I cannot reiterate enough how proud I am to be an AFP Triangle Chapter Member. After returning from the AFP International Conference in San Diego and seeing our chapter represented on the International level in various ways. It really sealed any doubts I had about our chapter being a premiere, top notch AFP Chapter. As you see from the grainy pictures below, our chapter was represented in so many ways. In addition, Clarenda Stanley and I, and Gail Perry held breakout sessions at the International Conference. I was glowing at the conference seeing the Triangle so prominently on display. So many members are being recognized in so many different ways. Our very own member Sarah Perkins recently became the first woman in the Triangle to receive the title of Grant Professional Certified (GPC). Our members are truly remarkable and we are looking for ways to recognize our members more often. Please send us your accolades and accomplishments, so we can share in your praise. As your flowers begin to bloom in your garden and in your careers, please remember to think of AFP and all that it has offered to the profession. It is time to give back and give back to the Every Member Campaign. You will be hearing more about the campaign, how you can contribute, and how your gift makes a difference in the coming months.
