So we aren’t all famous actors, but what we do has the power to transform society for the better. Please consider entering a nomination for one of seven categories of AFP’s National Philanthropy Day awards. A selection committee comprised of past AFP Triangle Chapter presidents and community leaders evaluates nominees in seven different categories.
The categories are:
- Excellence in Philanthropy
- Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser
- Outstanding Philanthropic Organization
- Innovation in Philanthropy
- Outstanding Corporation
- Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy
- Outstanding Fundraising Executive

This year, AFP Triangle’s 2011 National Philanthropy Day celebration will be held November 15 at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary. The heart of the program is our Nominees and Award winners so please submit your nomination soon! The posting period ends on July 31!
