Despite Old Man Winter’s annual bone-numbing trek, our January Philanthropy Forecast is for blue skies and sunny conditions where it comes to helping you reach your fundraising goals in 2014. Thank you to all who attended and supported our first big event of the year. For those who were unable to make it, don’t fret. We have a selection of wonderful opportunities and benefits on the radar for you in 2014.
In 2013, you spoke and we listened. The results of our 2013 Membership Survey helped chapter leadership ensure that we offer the programming you want. Our Breakfast Meetings will be offered in March, May, and September and will boast an impressive slate of speakers on the topics you requested. We have a new meeting venue – the Research Triangle Foundation- which is central and convenient for our members. And the Statewide Conference is back in the Triangle this year! We are happy to have Durham Convention Center as the location and we are looking forward to the best conference yet. Our mentorship program and Coffee N’ Conversations are both back, and expect a few surprises when National Philanthropy Day rolls around, and so much more.
I look forward to hearing from you, so please feel free to reach out to me anytime at canderson@lucydanielscenter.org.
