The Triangle Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) advances philanthropy by fostering growth and development of fundraising professionals in order to practice effective and ethical fundraising. If you didn't get to the AFP Conference in Durham on August 7th, you missed a wonderful, informative and fun event!
540 fundraisers from North Carolina and surrounding states participated in the 4th annual conference hosted by the Triangle, Charlotte and Triad Chapters of AFP. As our evaluations prove, this conference was a great success on all levels. We thank those of you who completed your survey and we are taking your advice under consideration as we plan the 2009 conference. For a summary of the evaluation responses, click here.
Keynote Speaker Laura Fredricks, JD, LLC delivered an inspiring and thought provoking address to the luncheon crowd and offered a special breakout session which sold out very early!
